Icon Templates, Editable?
#1
Question
Okay, so I was planning to make a thread in the Creative Zone, where I would post anything type of creativity I have made or will make that aren't ripped sprite sheets or custom sprite sheets.
I have apparently gained the addiction of posting the sprite sheets as an icon first, like those custom sprite sheets that we can post the custom icon for the content inside. So I edited the Sheet Icon Template given by RTB on this page, but I don't know if we are allowed to do that.
... Are we allowed? (To edit the icon template or recolor the palette and post it for our arts?)
Thank you for taking your time.
Here's what I did;

No.
Tsunami Bomb - The Simple Truth
We could run away
Leave behind anything paper
Not knowing where we're going to stay
When there's no Mondays

You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
When I'm in your arms, I feel safe from harm and sorrow too
You're part of me, it's so easy to see the simple truth
But most of all, nothing couldn't be solved when I'm with you

I think she meant to use them as link icons for things she'd post in her creativity thread, not for them to be used on the website, so I don't see what the problem would be, although obviously it's a highly delicate copyright issue and at least royalties would be in order. Buuuut okay.

If I'm understanding correctly, I think Previous is right. You can link to your own things however you'd like but if you are making an icon for use on the actual site, it needs to follow the existing template.

Well, yeah. I meant what Previous and Petie said. I'm not going to use that on the actual site, just a clickable icon that will take someone to the link of my image (maybe on imgur). But if that's not allowed, then I understand.
Thanks for replyin', though!

Well, The Mad Soldier already did something like that for his site so I suppose that if you want to modify those for your own things, then you can do so. But yeah, stick to the default appearances for submissions to The Resource.

Okay, thanks a lot RTB! I'll use the default for tSR submissions always! Again, thanks for letting me use my edited version for my own arts. A lot.
