Keiang's Sprite Dump

Well, I certainly let this topic die. I'll come back to the other stuff later, have this:

I'd have posted this in the thread, but I haven't been a member long enough yet. Not really sure if I should try to be in the game or what, but I like the style and I think it would be good animation practice if I make a sheet or something.

The little white cube things are dice, not sure how to make that more apparent. It should probably have a black outline around them, but I need to find a way to make that look good first. I also have no idea if this is too complicated for the style, mostly in regards to the shirt and jacket.

The front leg appears to be thinner than the back leg (moving the inner line one pixel to the right may suffice). The front arm's upper part is longer than the lower. His back arm has no elbow at all.

Any better? I was going to make use your suggestion on the legs, but it either made the crotch look weird or the legs too stiff. I'm also not sure if the back arm is too short or what.

well, i threw that other sprite in that topic, so i guess it's back to this thing.

I looked back on the first sprite, and I thought it looked too messy, so I changed it. I also went back and did some stuff with the design so that it goes better with the game mechanics.

I think I might use this style instead, since it's easier and it looks sharper. I dunno. Tell me if I made it worse or whatever.

I changed the design for practical reasons. Armor pieces are supposed to go on the forearms and shins, so I figured having a black base would work better for the pants.

As far as the shirt, I dunno. They're both based on chinese dresses- I just figured the second style fit the character better.
