Been picking up spriting again lately, mainly just tinkering with my old sprites.

I'm trying upscaling right now from this old animation I made.

Haven't gotten too much done, just the head of the first frame. I'm still pretty iffy on the new palette I'm using, it's definitely not final.

if your trying to upscale to the size on the right... dont. it just doesn't look right as pixel art. I'd say 128 x 128 is a good limit for characters, if you go higher the character should either be huge (in comparison to the world around it, a giant for example) or you should be making the sprites via something that is not pixel art.

I personally like the original good animation, fair size so that it keeps the benefits of pixel art but not so small that it lacks elements of form.
pallet is a bit dark, which the new pallet fixed but if your not happy with the new pallet, obviously just keep changing it.
