So guys, I've got an extra $300 due to selling a drumest that I've had gathering dust for years, and I had a few ideas on how to spend it....
Option 1. I could easily afford a VIP ticket to the Death To All tour, which includes Athiest, Gorguts, and all of the remaining members of death who would play through Death's Discography with special guest vocalists. Now with the VIP ticket option, I would get to meet the members of Death, eat lunch with them, get stuff signed and talk with them more, and I would receive a special vinyl of one of Death's 7 seven albums to coincide with the date. And all of this would be $200.
PROS: -The one chance I'll probably get to see the closest thing to Death as possible
- See my second favorite band ever live
- Meet many of the musicians who inspire my music
- schweet vinyl record
CONS: - would need other people to go with, split gas costs hotel cost and such.
- Hotel for two nights would be annoying
- No one wants to go, friends already have other concerts/festivals they want to see.
Option 2. Simple idea, get the tattoo of Hellboy on my shoulder that I was planning to get, it's simple so it shouldn't run over $300.
PROS: - Hellboy is on my shoulder
- Would start a wonderful chain of tattoos I have planned
CONS:- Wouldn't be able to go laking at all this summer, thats one of my favorite things to do in the summer
- would cost most of if not more of my $300, and the tattoo artist might decide he wouldn't be able to fit it, which they seem to have for all of my ideas, no matter how simple.
Option 3. Baroness have a new album coming out this summer and the idea was if they announe a special awesome radular package to get that, and if not to just get the new album on cd, vinyl, and get a cool t-shirt. This would be the cheapest option, running no more than $100.
Pros - What should be an awesome album in two formats ,and most likely a sexy John Baizley artwork tshirt
- cheapest
Cons- non really, but not the one I prefer to follow through on really out of the three options.
