BEAT 'EM UP

The outline in blue is the one I have the most an issue with. It cuts the nose from the face pretty abruptly, and I can't really tell what it is.
I didn't mean you were representing a pig, I was thinking of looking more closely at pig snouts, so that you could understand how you can translate that in your style effectively. I noticed that pigs' snouts were pointier at the top and wider at the bottom. In my previous edit, I broke the outline so that it opened up the snout to the face, like one progresses into the other. The line at the back of the nose is a bit wider than in your version: I did this to give the impression it was longer, and that the end of the nose sticks out from the hat and so is not in the shade.

I hope I'm clearer and that it helps! Smile

oh! i thought by "outlines" you didn't mean visual outlines but rather guidelines, so i got confused.

i think i'm going to mess around with his facial structure, as i realize now that my memory of pigs' noses is not what they actually look like, and what they actually look like is not what i want.

thanks for clarifying.
