Naruto models
#1
Hi, I would like to rip models from Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles 2 and(or) Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3. Does anyone know of any programs that can help me rip from these games? I would prefer something that keeps the rigs intact if possible.

Thanks. Smile

Well it would depend on the files the game comes with?

Ok, Thanks.
I'll look around a bit myself. I just didn't know what contained models.

So it turns out that Irx files can only be opened the way they were meant to, so no extraction.

I just want to know what files are in those MV, XA folders in the image?

The MV folder has MV00.DSI and MV01.DSI.
The XA folder has XA.AFS and XAVOICE.AFS.

The DSI file type is primarily associated with 'DAZ Studio' by DAZ Productions. The Layered Image Editor allows you to create, open, edit, and save DAZ Studio Layered Image sets (*.DSI).

Daz is a 3ds max type program

Well, I don't have DAZ or 3ds max. Sad

Is there anything in here that I could rip from to get the models?

I found this Game Extractor, on a site today. But I'm not sure how to use it or if it even works for Naruto UN3.

Here's a link to the file.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gameextractor/files/

And here's a link to the thread.

The guy who uploaded it says it's an all game data extractor.

Download the Extractor.zip
then go in to the scripts folder and extract the sripts.zip
then open the extractor run the script and there you go

You could always try using a model capture program with an emulator capable of running the game.
