Police confirmed that a 27-year-old female was pronounced dead at the home in Camden Square northern London; the cause of death was not immediately known. London Ambulance Services said Winehouse had died before the two ambulance crews it sent arrived at the scene.

true, but I didn't bother to look up an article that had that detail.
Not to come off as a dick but judging by her past history with things like avoiding rehab and stuff like that kind of makes me think she got what was coming to her, which is kind of sad too because there are so many celebrities that have died because of drugs.
