What movie did you just watch?

The Expendables.
Some parts were plain awful in this film, but it made me laugh. Some of the fighting was well executed, though.
I felt it was Stallone's mid-life (more towards 60 actually) crisis, but also like a synthesis of action films such as Predator and Commando.
The Schwarzy cameo was one of my favourite bits: I find he delivers better than Stallone, who tends to mumble and ramble.
Jason Statham did a good job in this film, too.

I still think Gran Torino is a better film directed and starring an aging action movie actor.

I might know why Stallone's beard looked out of place: I think it's because he dyed it. I noticed in one shot of the film it was pepper going onto grey, whereas in most close-ups and others it was jet-black.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was really good. Now I`m gonna have to watch the original Planet of the Apes on Netflix

The aliens in Cowboys and Aliens were pretty retarded for advanced creatures.

But it was pretty fun. I liked it.

this is what happened with My Life In Ruins (yes, i'm ashames)

i put it in without even thinking and then a little over 20 minutes i suddenly realized, "holy shit why the fuck did i put this in"

i ejected it and rewatched RED instead
