How do I use Models?
#1
Well the title sort of explains the question...

You see, I was exploring The Models Resource and thought, "Hey, I could make a cool YouTube Video with this stuff!", but I dont exactly know what to use to do this and how to use it, so I though I could ask here.

I also saw a YouTube video where it looked like all the guy did was sorta drag the models around and said they were walking. Thats basically what I want to do. If you could point out a program that will let me do this and how I get the models on that program and make them do sorta what the other guy did, I would be EXTREMELY grateful.

Well see, there's a LOT of programs you can use 3D models with. Problem is, most of 'em ain't free and they usually have very steep learning curves. If you want a free one you can try out Blender, but its definitely not an easy program for beginners.

You realize the Autodesk programs are all rather expensive and so are somewhat of a big investment for regular people to get right?

I use Carrara, Blender, Anim8tor and 3D Game Maker for anything 3d.
