I'm disappointed I couldn't get my illustrations up in time (but at the same time I also wish I had more time to work on them. The deadline did give me plenty of time, but work and other things always interfered). I'll post them in the doodle thread later I think, some are fun.

I'd like to say I had a similar problem, but in reality I just got caught up playing The Sims and forgot about my illustrations until the day I was submitting!

I have to admit I'm sort of... underwhelmed with some of the submissions though. A couple of the articles basically amount to I LIKE THIS GAME / THIS CHARACTER BECAUSE THEY ARE GOOD without really going into any depth. A few of them come across as pretty childish, in all honesty.

As a side note, I'm leaving the 31st open to bonus/late/assorted submissions. So if you want to still do images and what have you; or if you punked out and missed your deadline, it can still feature.

Eh. I had a sign up structure before (which I'm going to try and stick to), but as we've had a number of silent dropouts already (LIKE TODAY. YOU'RE DEAD TO ME, ZETABLAST35.), *cough*, I'm cool with you taking whatever day that has < 3 participants. Choose days that you feel the existing sign up is a weak link.

But yes, I'm quite pleased with a few articles so far. A big thanks to the comitted. =)
