Hi Friedslick6 , nice to know u =)

Its so great that u've ripped so many models in so many games =)
If u dont mind, can u upload the models =) ?
It would be so helpful for others and for me too =)

Thank you

While I could upload models from these games myself, especially those games which rip correctly, I wouldn't want to do so without the right agenda. I rip models just for the sake of having them, usually because they are rare cameo appearance models, or have never been ripped before/with better quality, or are obscure characters. For example, Guybrush Threepkiller from Star Wars TFU 2, Spawn from SoulCalibur II and Mario from Super Mario 64.

Let me take a guess, you've come from either Facepunch or KC-MM? I know that they are quite fond of using the models here for new ragdolls and characters (not that I mind.) If you ever want to talk about uploading models with me, you can always send me a private message or E-mail. Smile

I'm testing the Last story wii game.... it seems work fine with stages textures, uv map. Instead all characters models are t-posed but completely "unsable due to weird mesh distortions that doesen't happen with 3dripper (but models are posed and stretched)....i will continue the test with other rippers.

So, you're saying that the elements of the animated models that *are* animated are disjointed? Thanks! I've added the game to the list.

New update: After some trials i succesfully managed to ripp Pandor's Tower with 3dvia. This time the rigged models are posed (I tried with opengl and directx video plug in, but the result is the same.) Anyway I advise to ripp models and stages with the direcx plugin of dolphin , which this time works better than ogl one with 3dvia. Stages and characters are uv mapped, but u need to fix more complex uvmaps applied to npcs and chara. Last thing abut the stage: stages are ripped corrrectly, but some elements are scaled or not placed correctly in the ripp (uvmaps good). Acutally I tested 3dvia and 3dripperdx with some dolphin versions. The last one works fine too.

One more thing: It's seems that one person found a way to ripp correctly the T- pose chara of Last Story, but i can't find him cuz the site where he posted is down. Unfortunately i can't remember what tools he used. I only remeber it was a combination of 2 tools, one for the meshes and the other for the uv maps. 3dvia is not one of them for sure. I used 3dripperdx recently...and i found a way to ripp a partially unposed main characters.,,this is one of the tests:

That's all for now. I will do other tests with other tools soon.

Did anyone use 3Dvia Printscreen on Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity to see if it rips the characters in T-Pose?
