For some reason, I had this crazy notion that vocaloid = that 3D anime movie creation software or whatever that PJAMA used to post the vocaloid samples



It was justified in my head b/c Vipershark wanted it
and if it was that japanese animu thing then I assumed that the name was also japanese and thus the fact that Vocal didn't play into it







plus I was unaware that a program like Vocaloid existed in the first place

Actually the other program he used with it is called Miku Miku Dance where you can take sound from Vocaloid and put it in there and used the 3d characters to say that the sound says and have them move to it and stuff.

Well you'd be half right.

It's a franchise under that name; but started out as a music program. Kind of like how the Digimon franchise encompases a whole bunch of things and people would typically talk about and refer to the anime, but it started out as an LCD game (or a Trading Card game, I don't remember).
