Looks like a pretty promising game. The 2-player mode seems pretty cool. Can't wait to play it.

Looks like an improvement from the first

though the alternate reality part of it kind of turns me off from it, what the hell is even the point of calling it 2 when you might as well call it Super Mario: New Dimension or something like that?

I have to say that I simply cannot wait for the SMG2 to come out. Why? Because it is simply awesome, I hope that there will be some great levels in there.

some of you guys better be at the Nintendo World Store tomorrow for the release of this game. There's in-store prizes you can win for taking up challenges, take photos with Mario and Luigi (whoop) and meet Charles Martinet

Kosh I woulda been there today if I could somehow get there :c

Gosh, from visuals to the music. Everything about Super Mario Galaxy simply just takes me away.

Not exactly.

It can light up invisible areas of a level that would otherwise be inaccessible.

Either way, this game looks fucking amazing. I might just buy a Wii so I can get it. Looks leagues better than the original, and appeals more to the hardcore audience this time around.

This game is waht Galaxy 1 was supposed to be. Galaxy 1 was ok, but way to easy and it pissed me off. This however, looks rather fun, nostalgic and yet new at the same time. Can't wait really. To bad I can't pick this up today, how long does gamestop hold reserved games for?

48 hours, I think

This does look like an excellent follow-up. I liked Galaxy 1, but it didn't have the same replay value as I hoped it would (got all Stars with Mario, and beat Bowser with Luigi, then stopped), but this seems like it could be More like Mario 64...Gonna be picking up my copy in a few hours or so
