Inappropriate Names

Requesting full pic.

But guys, the issue being raised here is that this site is mostly frequented by children and pre-teens. Is the fact that extreme violence and other hateful acts are considered okay to show to kids by modern society, but natural things such as nakedness isn't a complete hypocrisy? Sure, I agree.

But you'll have to take it with society itself, not us. We just want tSR to be kid friendly because a lot of our users are kids and we don't want to get angry emails from mothers.

but see the problem with this site being frequented with children and pre-teens is that

the terms of registration clearly state you need to be at least 13
so anyone young enough to be offended by a picture like that wouldn't/shouldn't be allowed here in the first place

Tineye returns nothing for that pic. Sad

But seriously, if Dazz wants the forums to be worksafe/kidsafe, then it's his decision. Most popular gaming forums wouldn't let you get away with stuff like this in the first place.

There is no "problem" with the fact that the full image is naked, rather, the fact that you posted any picture in the first place.

That doesn't stop anyone from just browsing the forums.

Or the fact that kids will eventually pick stuff like porno, profanity or some sort of violence from probably a movie their parents watch.

I think a 9 year old could distinguish right from wrong (as long as it isn't some kid who whines about it). But really, alone the laws won't matter because of how kids know how to figure things out fast. trying to keep things work safe is pretty pointless if you ask me.

Besides the point of work-safe being safe for work, of course.

NSFW sites also tend to have a problem with adverts: normal sites get normal adverts, porn sites get goddamn talking boobs.

TSR is for video game sprites, there are many other sites for NSFW content and they aren't this site. If you need to share smut with your friends then you can get AIM, MSN Messenger, LiveJournal or whatever.

I don't think this stuff is allowed by the host. Plus having a sex free board makes this site look more respectable.

Actually, I thought that there was really no problem with it, Dazz just doesn't want it around.

I had no problems with those names and images but I must admit without them this community will seem more professional. Sort of...
