Example is for Game Maker 8 but does work in Lite Edition.

Instructions are simple but fairly long feel free to distribute in any legal and unharmful ways:

Download example.

Open up example.

Go to Rooms.

Go to views and put it to follow PACMAN and change 32 to 85 both of
the 32's or any number desired and check all options that are available to check or uncheck in views.

Click on green check.

Go to Backgrounds and load the sprite file desired, othered, both.

Go to Rooms.

Go to Room0.

Go to tiles.

Build a sprite together with tiles most prefferably in top left
corner.

Save as a game (File Create Executable...).

Save example and then exit out.

Go to the game.

Open the game.

Keep the game's folder open and press F9.

Exit game.

Open picture.

Right click and choose to open with paint.

Size down to the desired, othered, both size most prefferably leaving necessary background (left, top left, top, top right, right, bottom right, bottom, bottom left) and of course the sprite.

Save picture.

Load into game.

Repeat as desired, othered, both.
An awesomest (best) maze game V at least in my opinion.

Also you can ease the room height and width.

This makes cutting and pasting and using sprites from sprite sheets easiest.
