I've put together a rough animation of the standard bomb exploding from the side view. I am going to see if DeviantArt hosts GIF files. If not, then I'll need to make an account elsewhere. (30 pages here we come)

For some reason when I try to open the animation it informs me that I do not have proper access or some other bizarre excuse.
Expect delays on the animation...

It is good to hear that the tile size has been selected. It will be a while before I finish all my bomb work, but I plan on tiling once the bombs are done.

I'd say color, and maybe shape, but it goes a little fast so I could be wrong.

I think the color was just a guidline.
Also, the first frame of the explosion seems wierd, but i can't see it very well, so i might be wrong.

I am at a block for trying to make the explosion. My plan now is to clean up the bomb lab file and to put it up for one of you to try. It might help if we decide on a coloring style of sorts.

I think the biggest issue this project has moving forward is a lack of a defined style, and if there is a defined style--then we need to work on spreading the word around better.

Keep working on Stalfos. I am going to produce a sheet of hand bombs and maybe one other type of bomb... Oh ya, I need to make the standard bombs in the overview.

Hey guys. I don't exactly stop by here very often...

I really only check up on http://oracles-reborn.deviantart.com/ these days, and even that's a rarity due to the lack of activity. Chaoxys (SGG) dropped out for awhile till we can find a programmer, and I hardly ever sprite anymore.

From what I've seen since last time, the stalfos looks good, but honestly, the explosion is just awful. The colors are out of whack, and it looks nothing like the explosions from PH/ST.

Try looking up walkthrough videos on Youtube, Magik. That'll help you out.

I know that the explosion is terrible, but my mind cannot fathom how to do it. From time to time I will do explosion labs to see if I can settle upon something. However, as far serious contributions go, I will not be making any explosions. I will need to reorganize my bombs and create overview ones--unless this perspective works.

We're going for kind of a 3/4 view from the front, kind of like PH/ST, and using a front on view for the 2D sections.

IMO it might be simpler if we just did this in 3D altogether, buuuuuut y'know, we would need to find a programmer and model maker, so we're sticking to sprites.
