We should just have one third party character per franchise... to be fair.

One for Metal Gear, one for Sonic, one for something else, etc.

Why? Each character color can be a different character model. Its not like you wouldn't be able to pick and choose what models you actually want to use anyway. The way it works is if you have a model to replace the one in the game on your SD card then the game will use the model on the SD card. If you don't want to replace a model then you just don't put a file there. Its that simple.
