Here's what usually happens:
1. Plug in tablet and start up Photoshop.
2. Tablet some stuff whooooooo
3. Tablet becomes unresponsive, notice the lights aren't on (the lights being on is the sign that the PC is getting input from the tablet)
4. Unplug and replug tablet, tablet suddenly switches to mouse mode (no pressure sensitivity in Photoshop, and the tablet canvas is oversensitive; going from top to bottom on the screen is only halfway on the tablet)
5. Restarting Photoshop (and opening certain programs) from this point on gets a "There is an error with the tablet device" that is really annoying and also makes Photoshop take 1-5 minutes to open instead of 10 seconds like it normally does.
6. Ragequit.
