Universal Rules + (Updated June 11, 2014)

Update: 9-7-11

I went through and basically did a complete overhaul on the rules.

--Fixed various spelling and grammatical errors as well as added new formatting.
--Various clarifications for vague-sounding rules.
--Addendums to various rules.
--Removed Rule 2.3 (rules about User Comments) because that board feature was removed but the rules were never updated to reflect it
--I felt that the old Rule 6.1 (no e-kleptomania) was a major enough deal to be its own rule; besides, it didn't really fit onto requesting, so I made it into its own rule. Rule 6.1 is now Rule 7.
--Rule 8 (Single word, short sentence, etc rule) fits better as a sub-rule to rule 1 since rule 1 covers pointless/stupid comments. Rule 8 is now Rule 1.2.
--Same deal with Rule 9 (Don't de-rail other people's topics). It fit better within the realm of generally not being dumb, so Rule 9 is now Rule 1.3
--Rule 12 (Signatures) made more sense as a sub-rule to Rule 10 (Page efficiency), so I fixed that.


Does anyone else think that it would make sense to place Rule 8 (necro and double posting) as a sub-rule to rule 1? It fits with the whole "Don't be dumb" vibe.
