The last straw came when we learned Ms. Bellum was removed for stupid reasons. Some reckon the writers think she's too sexy for the show.
I know they won't bring back HIM for the sole reason he looked and acted like a camp gay character and was a stand-in for Satan.

That was not the reason they took out Ms. Bellum. It was because she doesn't fit the current model of the show: being character driven. Bellum really didn't have much going for her in the original compared to others. They took her out because she wouldn't really add anything. And yes, HIM is back in the show and did some body horror to Princess. He's even in the opening.

I like the new PPG. While not as good as the original, it is trying to do something different with the established characters. Making them more than three sisters who save the day. And while that Unicorn episode was terrible at being a message episode, the new series actually had a good episode about the Professor dating someone.
