Peanut People
#21
I keep saying I'm gonna post here with crit and then I keep writing up the post and then I forget to submit it and it's really frustrating. So I'm gonna sit down and submit this goddamn post. It's a lot to swallow, but maybe I'll keep it short and sweet i dunno lol

You're killing your hand for a few reasons

- you're pressing way too hard - lighten up the pressure on both the paper and your pencil when you draw. it should make things easier to erase, too since your lines are lighter.
- you're drawing with your wrist, not your arm, which is what's causing you to strain so hard while drawing. doing these two things will put less stress on your hand while drawing.
- you're drawing these peanut people too small, making it really hard to read their individual details (see your WoW Chromie peanut for what I mean)
- you're trying to cram too many peanut people on one page. drawing with your arm will also cause you to make bigger, swifter lines

try only drawing like 10 peanut people per page instead of like 24.
also, you might want to consider using a ruler, here's why:

Notice the vast difference in the size of their heads despite how the size of their bodies are about the same?
(also, the four bullets from above are...kinda in reference to Chromie.
You're able to somehow freehand Sonic with no issues and no need to erase and that's pretty impressive lmao)

Using a ruler will allow you to...like, for instance, separate Peanut People into three segments for consistency - head, torso, and...legs? Draw three lines across the page (landscape orientation) and you should be able to fit 5 characters within those lines, no problem. Repeat again for another 5 to fit on that page.

Hooray for consistency!

You'll notice that with much less Peanut People per page, you'll be able to draw finer details on them, too. And if you're not squeezing the dang pencil still, you should still be OK to pull out another page and draw 10 more if you feel so inclined ;P
