I need some feedback for my spritesheet

Just to mention, yes I appreciate your feedback and I do understand. However I am new to the forum and everything in general, so I need a lot of help. Just for the record I do do my research, and from searching the internet before I made this and checking on different websites I was almost certain you could only use 3 colours unless using the mega man affect which is two sprites layered, just mentioning not trying to be rude.

Just for the record I don't use MS paint, im on a mac. Not to say I would if I had a windows computer because it would not work.

The SMB3 has more details than in SMB1, but at the same time they did more than remove colors. Since the SMB1 style is more flat (everyone is either straight toward the player or the screen), they made the Chain Chomp look like he would fit in the original game. They still have less colors and no outlines, but you can still see the details. 

Your Shyguys don't show off that detail level. In fact, the way you recolored them made them lose detail. You removed their arms. You should instead try to edit the Super Mario Maker Bob-ombs and use them to make the Shyguys. Or do what I did and base them off Goombas.

Thanks that was really helpful, if you could just keep an eye out because im going to try again and make it more accurate, also great job on the shy guy you did it looks awesome.

Here we go I took your advise and spent some time perfecting it, but the walking doesn't look so good, can you see the reason because I couldn't tell.

Personally I think it looks a lot better.
