Jasper is correct. The red background means that the image is larger than the maximum size we’d expect to see. It doesn’t mean the submission will be rejected, necessarily, and was really included more as a quick reference point for staff which is why there is no explanation for it anywhere (though I suppose there should be since I’m showing it to users too). Re-exporting with a smaller file size does indeed usually correct the issue though I don’t think you’ll really be able to do that while keeping the APNG format.
