I am afraid I might have to buy the DLC for 3DS and Wii U separately, because the 3DS is linked to my NNID and the Wii U to my brother's. The costumes on the 3DS isn't top priority. I might get them, because of X and Proto, but it's a must for Wii U. Way better than those lame-ass texture edits of the good old Stack Smash days.

I've read the How to Buy thing on the Smash Bros. site more closely and it looks like that if you buy a bundle for both versions on either version, you'll get a DL-code for the other version, so it's most likely not tied to an account, thank God.
