Off topic: I'm interested in hearing what you have to say about Mario Kart 8.

im with this too. i never really liked the other mario karts since the control was very loose and wobbly. mario kart 8 was perfect for me since the physics were more... solid? the only thing that i found bad about this formula is how repetitive everything really gets.

Fourthing this. MK8 STILL doesn't have the Double Dash two-seaters, but out of any MarioKart I've played it's not "overpolished" - it's "literally perfect". "Overpolished" is a game like The Order, where there's more focus on making the game look too sexy though overall it's unexciting and just not fun to play.

Perhaps I'll write up a long analysis on what I like and dislike about it sometime this week to revive the thread and spark discussion.
