As someone who plays Smash competitively, fuck Sakurai. I love how his view on Smash seems to be "play however you want, unless you want to play it like this.
Personally, I actually agree with sakurai.
Honestly playing a game competitively kind of takes the fun away in a game. I find it more fun to play a game and keep messing around with the things in it to make it more enjoyable. plus with how much stuff sakurai actually puts into super smash bros for everyone to enjoy the game? it's incredible.
Then again I've never really cared much for the competitive gaming scenes anyway.
