This is like a free dessert after a luxurious meal that was prepared free of charge. In a restaurant with this type of service, I don’t think there’s anybody who would say, “Change this to a meat dish!!”

Bad analogy Sakurai. In a restaurant people are allowed to know what's on the menu and choose what they like. Don't try to surprise people with a hair-brained meal and expect everyone to love it.

Except that you already know what the menu is (main dish) and you get extra characters you might like as a premade 'dessert'. You can dislike clones all you want, but it is a freebie character and hating on it will not make them go away, or be changed to another main dish.

I find the analogy funny and accurate because clones are both in playing sense and dev sense, 'extra' characters to make the character choice bigger.
