I don't know man, I'm using my original 3ds and it's not hard on the hands or eyes at all.
The only game that ever really got hard on the hands was Mario Kart 7 for me personally, and I've never had a problem with the 3d like many others. Thanked by: Sevenstitch, Phantom Killah
