TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|SWITCH HYPE TRAIN NOW BOARDING
Getting back to the Kirby stage/music discussion ...

Triple Deluxe is certainly the best traditional Kirby game that's come out in ages, and it did have some excellent music, but I doubt we'll see any music from it appear in the new Smash game. It just came out way too late in Smash's development. It's not impossible since there's always the chance that Sakurai asked requested assets from Hal while the game was in development, but it would be difficult to know what they are looking for.

It's much more likely we will instead hear some music from Kirby Mass Attack and Return to Dream Land. Or Epic Yarn even if we're lucky (God I want an Epic Yarn stage).

Additionally the main problem with reskinning the boxing arena as a Dedede themed stage is the audience. All those human models would have to be replaced with Dream Land characters, so it would have to be way more than just a simple skin. You might not think it's important, but Sakurai is very adamant about details such as that.

Some Kirby stage ideas:

Butter Building: Kirby's Adventure (NES) - They made it work for Kirby Fighters, it can't be that hard to figure out for Smash Bros.

Great Cave Offensive: Kirby Super Star (SNES) - You start out in the generic cave/foresty area, and every once in a while the floor caves in leading the fighters to another section of the cave (crystal area, castle area, garden area) at random. There's also a small chance you might fall into a boss area, where fighters may encounter Fatty Whale, Chameleo Arm, or Wham Bam Rock.

Castle Dedede: Kirby 64 - A traveling stage of sorts. You start out in front of the castle fighting over a large platform. The platform then moves into and through the castle, eventually ending on the rooftop. Seriously, go back to Kirby 64 and play this level and tell me it wouldn't make an excellent stage.

Patch Land: Kirby's Epic Yarn - Basically the equivalent of the Paper Mario stage but for the Wii U. Features various locations from Epic Yarn, which are occasionally unraveled and remade into a new form by Yin Yarn.

Also not Kirby related but I would just like to throw it out there that I'd still really like to see an "under the ocean" themed stage from some franchise. Starfy would have been perfect for this ... just because he's not a fighter doesn't mean a Starfy themed stage is impossible, does it?
