TSR's Super Smash Bros Thread|SWITCH HYPE TRAIN NOW BOARDING

No matter how it goes, it won't look like I'll win on that part, the former isn't likely and the latter is practically forgotten. :V

I agree with you for the most part. Bowser's voice now has been pretty consistant in everything BUT Smash Bros. He can talk, but he makes low pitched grumbly growls. And DK's best voice actor was definitely Grant Kirkhope. Did you know that his sound samples from DK64 were reused in Mario Golf Toadstool Tour, DKC for the GBA, and Mario vs Donkey Kong? They were going to have Kirkhope voice DK in Smash Bros. Melee, but went with the traditional gorilla sounds instead.

Though, I have no problem with the DK Crew's new voice actors. I think "RONKEY RONG" from DKC Returns and Tropical Freeze really fits DK's personality. If what Koopaul said is true, though, we're going to get the traditional gorilla and dragon sounds for the two Nintendo giants. It's kind of annoying, actually.

That being said, it was a demo after all. Maybe new voice acting wasn't implemented yet? It was only in the Smash Direct that Lucario and Diddy had their Brawl models as their profiles, remember.
