Sorry for the delay. Yesterday (Sunday), I had a busy day and a migraine, and I had to work today. So, no I wasn't upset after your post in my other topic.

I still have an old Pentium 4 that's still functional, and until recently, I had both Linux and Windows XP. And since XP isn't maintained anymore, I wiped it out when I leapt from Xubuntu 12.04 to Lubuntu 14.04.
By the way, regarding GIMP, for your information, there's now a built-in Single Window Mode option since 2.8 and we can now group layers.
