Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Maybe it's just me, but running back and forth, hoping that they didn't randomly launch themselves to the other half of the map, that just isn't fun (especially the legendary bird thing in X&Y where you had to randomly encounter it 12 times or so).

just run in and out of a route and check the map every time. particularly i remember doing this in RSE on the route with the daycare

See, the issue is that, as far as i'm concerned, that isn't fun, it's tedious.
