If your sprite is so unreadable that you actually have to EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS TO US, something's seriously wrong. The first thing to do would be shaping up your sprite and fixing it so it looks like what you claim for it to be. Exaggerate proportions, separate the separate parts with outlines, do something.
