No, the point I'm getting at is that there should be a universal file format for games, and all consoles should be able to read it. It's not "one console". It's one format. One console would never actually work, but if you can read any game from any console, that's the point. It's not hurting anyone. At all.

The only console exclusive features that could actually remain justified would be digital services, in which cases those had better align with the manufacturers other products (for instance, if Apple made a game console, it better be connected to the iTunes service.)
