i kinda spilled the fact that

i have a sister

in front of my coworkers.

it's a very long story between myself, my mother, and my older sister - and generally, my mother's avoided talking about it for years. long story short, my older sister's literally twice my age and the product of a previous marriage - and my mom never, EVER talks about her previous marriage

so now i'm worried that my supervisor's going to say "OH [KOSHEH'S MOM], I DIDNT KNOW YOU ______" and its gonna cause a major rift later that night

i've got an entire fabricated story on the backburner

my older sister is twice my age, so more or less she moved out when she was around 20 with her then-boyfriend.
my parents lived in NYC all their life and only moved upstate three years before i was born, giving ample time between my sister est. 3 years before i was born to move out

but yeah. i'm really not sure how this is all gonna unfold. probably nothing will happen, which i'm ok with
