the poop happens world we live in thread 2XXX
I consider myself pretty straight-edge, although not, I guess, due to drinking. I enjoy drinking really, but only as a activity done socially and never by one's self (and always in moderation.)

I think as long as you're able to handle yourself and your limits, drinking isn't something to be feared and neither is the atmosphere. Remember, if you can't feel your face anymore, you've probably had enough.

On that note, it's sorta depressing when the only activity young folks have to entertain themselves in the town I originate from involves smoking plants that may or may not have medicinal applications. Just to pass the time. Where did all the things-to-do go?

"so, your dark" "but you still kinda dress like a hipster"
"you're a hipster goth, end of discussion".

"well you see guys, hipster doesn't really fit me because I'm not really a modern hippy."
"yes I am dark, but and I have a goth mindest but in your mind I guess I'm not a goth since I'm not like spiked mowhawked, and wearing a trench coat. So let's just go with, I'm gothically inclined"
"Why are we labeling me anyway? Labels are for soups not really for people."

"Well, you just aren't normal so you have to be something"

Fuck you guys, I where are my good friends? Oh right at a party where I won't go because of the new straightedge attempt.

hey; just because you're 'straight edge' doesn't mean you can't go to a party and hang out with your friends.
i make the conscious decision not to smoke or drink or anything; basically because i just really don't enjoy it and I still go to parties quite often

why is it that all of the incredibly dumb people in my town are becoming the most successful
