These were hard to rip,but they turned out Great!I'm not Done Ripping yet though.Once I'm done Ripping,I'll put all the Sprites into a Sheet.

I know there are small differences in all platforms (maybe more in the iPhone version), but of what system did you ripped these from?

Xbox 360 and Wii.There only Difference is that the Sonic in the Wii Version doesn't have his head Shining with Light Blue.

Yes,but when you try to rip something from a 2.5 Dimension Game,the Result is a Sprite.

I just Updated with a Spikes Sprite I just Ripped.

I seriously thought that this game was like a static 3D... Y'know, 3D models that are made into sprites? Like the one's they did in the Donkey Kong Country series and Toy Story for the SNES and stuff... 0_o

That's what I thought about Sonic 4 at first too,until a bunch of guys on YouTube said it was a Model.

Maybe when Sonic 4 Episode 2 comes out,I might Rip Tails.I'm not making promises,but I might rip him.

Hmmm... interesting... I must'uv read it wrong somewhere though, I dunno. I do know that some of the backgrounds are static 3D sprites and not polys. http://new.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=15540 (I think??)

Well, Sonic does the frame speed of a realtime model, so be careful when attempting to rip every frame of him if it really is a model. (Maybe Sonic 4 Wii>Dolphin>recording app for that one?) 0_o

However you rip them, keep up the good work!

The Sonic in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I is a 3D model, not a sprite, and therefore has an unlimited amount of frames, from different angles, different lighting, etc. We can't really accept these.

Plus, your captures are nowhere near all of them, let alone 1/10th.

Agreed. Makes sense, even if the game is kinda a mix of 3D and 2D... It can get confusing, but if it's 3D already made to 2D (like Donkey Kong) then it's fine, but if it's already 3D then it's best to just let it be or at least post in a 3D ripping forum elsewhere.

Smash-Aholic: like Random Talking Bush and I stated, it would probably be like a bigillion frames to work with anyway, which is soooo much work, so it's best to leave the 3D to 2D sprite transition to the developers.

Not to say your skills aren't needed, I for one am liking the stuff you got. Use your knowledge at picking at the game to grab some good sprites from it, cuz there's still a bunch that probably hasn't been ripped yet and probably easier to obtain/rip. Cute
