I was mostly refering to cases when a newcomer, or even veteran (who has only posted recolors or splices as best) butts in and offers advice and suggestions that not even himself follows, but he still offers it to look "wise"
Like for example, the guy who says that a recolor is OK when it's properly used (he never says HOW) or tries to support his advice by comparing himself to professional pixel artists- for example, encouraging others to recolor sprites claiming that it helps to "build their skills" because professional games use recolored characters (As the typical Green Jelly, Purple Jelly (poisonous), Gray Jelly (made of metal) and Golden Jelly (made of money)) so recoloring is perfectly OK when you want to create "new" characters.

I'm not saying that non-spriters shouldn't be allowed to talk, but most of time, and despite their good intentions, they end up doing more harm than good.
