Help with getting sprites from .bin files???
#1
Question
i'm trying to rip several sprites (and possibly some music, if i can figure that out) from Dorabase 2: Nettou Ultra Stadium. it's a japan-exclusive game from 2009 for a franchise that's niche and unknown in the west, so nobody's ripped any of the sprites before now, and i'd like to be the one to do so. (i'm skipping over the first game since the sequel has better sprites and better everything overall, but if this is successful i'll go back and rip that one as well.)

there's just two problems with that. one, i've never ripped anything before, and two, the files are set up in such a way that's leaving me scratching my head as to how to proceed.

i'm emulating using desmume and attempting to access the files through tinke and maybe crystaltile2, depending on what would be best for what i'm going for. if there are any better programs out there, suggestions are very much welcome. i've done some reading while attempting to rip on my own, so i understand that .bin files are used as a catchall and that they can be anything and store anything. i'd just like some clarification or tips or anything on where to go from where i am right now, because i'm a little stumped.

this is what the game looks like when i open it up in tinke:

poking around so far has given me nothing, and i really don't know what to do next. should i view the files in another program? is there a crucial bit of information that i'm missing? i'm very new to this and not very familiar with the more intricate details, so any help or advice would be very appreciated. thank you in advance!!
