We don't exactly have a system in place to convert pending submissions into revisions, so the original sheet had to be edited using your pending submission. We don't have an "accepted, but..." option for pending submissions, so the pending submission needed to be rejected after its purpose was served so as to not create a duplicate on the page.
Geez... Duct tape and prayers, huh?
