Small update in case anyone else is looking to rip from these Neopets games -- I figured it out with some assistance from another person offsite.
The files are stored in .apk files, and can be extracted with AssetStudio or AssetRipper. You'll just need to go to root/data/app on a rooted device/emulator, and export the APKs there.
The one I found the files in was called split_InstallTimeContent.apk, and it looks like this is how the files are stored in the other Neopets mobile game, Island Builders, as well.
