Trying to access contents of .SMC for SNES

Jurassic Park on the SNES was made during the days where the most common way for sprites would have been using either Deluxe Paint on the Amiga with a tool to convert it to what the SNES used or using a special SNES graphic editor that would have been long gone by now. The only files that you would have found at absolute best would be ILBM files but extremely rarely that you actually find them in a game. The older consoles used a tile based format and the ROM may also be compressed, don't think Jurassic Park 1 used or used as much compression though (do recall someone [Ragey?] was able to view the ROM fine).

Secondly as it is a SNES game, you'll have better luck going down the emulator route. You could use YY-CHR or SNESTilesKitten to open the ROM but an easier option would be to use the bsnes-plus emulator. This is due to that you have a tile viewer and can also look into the ROM, not only that but you can also get the palette of what you want assuming that you're there in the game.

Which one would you recommend? I'm just looking to access the files inside and extract them. Without having to screenshot frame by frame, editing, and getting it that way. I'll start with bsnes.
