How to export bones from MKDS Course Modifer?
#2
MA Files are Maya Ascii files. Since they are Ascii Files, you could take a look at the bone structure and rebuild it in Blender( It is possible but tedious, believe me). However there is a better method for converting, what I'm assuming to be NSBMD files, since you can open them in MKDS Course Modifier. You could use Apicula by Scurest, a command line tool to convert your model file into a Collada File( *.dae), which you can then import into Blender. This tool also supports animations.

I should also add, that the Maya Ascii files you saved from MKDS Course Modifier seem to behave weirdly in Maya( only tested on Maya 2014) as well. Oh and MKDS Course Modifier is out of active Developement for years, being somewhat succeeded by Every File Explorer( wasn't updated in a very long time either) by the same Developer.
