For the palette, I'd suggest plucking colors from official Mario Maker sprites to make sure you stay in-style.
Thank you very much, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the mods as the VG Resource in how helpful and active you guys are in the community, without you, I'd have never improved the sprite to the point of approval. I know I sound sarcastic, but honestly I'm thanking you.
