How to rip sounds (not voices or instruments) in Super Mario Galaxy

Uhm...I don't think that's how muting sounds works, though. Missing files could more likely lead to crashes than muting, even if it's sound files.
No, I would need a code that manually mutes all music, all voices and all ambient sounds, since codes only disable things and doesn't remove them out of existance completely.
