I hope this answers any questions about style or what kind of design is acceptable (which is basically any, as long as it's your own work)
Generally speaking, the overarching art direction of G33X is a combination of influences from Western cartoons such as Looney Tunes in addition to some Japanese influences such as the works of Shotaro Ishinomori (Cyborg 009) Osamu Tezuka (Astro Boy, Kimba the White Lion, etc) Ken Sugimori (Pokémon (Gen 1 and 2)) and Keiji Inafune (Mega man) Other style cues come from games such as Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong Country, and Sonic the Hedgehog.
