if you like playing the game as authentic as possible, then go for vc. if you like modding goodness and extra stuff, then go emulator.

i personally love vc since i never have issues and i like playing games as authentic as possible. also, most n64 dont quite work that well on pc, like paper mario for example still has issues. i also prefer playing games on my tv than my pc. i just get a richer experience in general.
