First time ripping sprites, need a little advice

Hey guys first time ripping sprites and i need help ripping pokemon and sonic sprites i cant copy this to the thing im using which is DarkFunction editor i tried but it didint work any ideas


P.S yes im planing im doing a good sonic animation it might take awile

You're going to have to be a little more specific. What sprites? What game?
