Commenting on sheets

I was wondering how the new function to comment on sheets will work? Does commenting will create a thread in the forums, or is it completely independant? Also, does the submitter will have a notice ( or automaticely subscribed to the thread) when someone comment on your sheets? Furthermore, is there a changelog for the new function of the site? I also remember seeing a list of all submitted sheets by a single user, how can we access it?
