"Giving credit" when uploading images to a wiki
#1
Hello,

First of all allow me to apologize if this is not an adequate place for this question, but it still seemed the best one around.

Anyway, here is the situation: I'm a contributor a the 999 wiki (http://ninehourspersonsdoors.wikia.com/w...Doors_Wiki), and I found on your website sheets with (most of) the games CG ripped by Shoda (found here: http://www.spriters-resource.com/ds/9h9p9d/). I proceeded to individually separate (many of) the images and upload them to the wiki.

My question is what is the best/preferred way to give credit (which the ripper asked for)? I tried asking the ripper directly (both through e-mail and private message), but am yet to receive an answer, and I'd rather like to move on with my work at the wiki.

On a separate note, does anyone know what the legal copyright status is for the ripped images? (my guess is that they still fully belong to the copyright holder of the game...)
